6:30am, the trays come out
Cornetti stacked in wooden trays, the first flat whites and cappuccinos poured before most of E14 is awake. If you catch an early DLR or start early at the Wharf, this is your stop.
Mid-morning, tables fill up
Bacon croissants, Italian omelettes and pancake stacks land on the blue plates, inside at the long oak counter or out on the pavement tables when the sun plays along.
Lunch, the oven takes over
Whole pizzas, calzoni and plates of pasta join the focaccia sandwiches. Eat in, take a box back to the office, or grab a slice from the counter case.
3:30pm, last calls at the counter
The cases wind down and the deli shelves earn their keep: cantucci, Nutella biscuits and Italian store-cupboard staples to take home. Saturdays run 7:30am to 2pm; Sundays the ovens rest.

Where exactly is the cafe?
19 Cuba Street, London E14 8LD, on the west side of the Isle of Dogs just off Westferry Road. It is about five minutes on foot from Canary Wharf and the riverside at Westferry Circus.
Can I take away or get delivery?
Yes. Everything on the counter goes in a box, and Neama is on the usual delivery apps for the local area. Eating in works too, at the long counter inside or the pavement tables.
Is there anything vegetarian?
Plenty: margherita, siciliana, fungi and quattro formaggi pizzas, the tricolore focaccia, pomodoro pasta, and most of the sweet counter. Vegetarian items are tagged on the menu above.
